Finca La Santa was started in the 1960’s by Jose’s father, who brought with him family tradition, and passion. Jose and Aileen Gallardo run the farm now, and have segregated the farm into 5 micro-areas, each with it’s own “micro-climate”. These producers are passionate, and they grow incredible coffees.

Finca La Santa is located in Jurutungo, Santa Clara, in the province of Chiriqui. Which sits between a natural rainforest reserve, and the border of Costa Rica. Cold winds and rain come off the Atlantic through the mountains dividing Panama, creating a climate that is challenging to grow coffee in, but creates a truly unique bean!

The secret to the farms success is Jose’s own dedication, to growing exceptional coffee. Jose takes meticulous care of his plants, and only harvests the ripe cherries. He cups throughout the processing of the beans to ensure maximum quality.
